What happens when a person falls?
What happens when someone sees,
But pretends they did not?
What will the pain do to her?
What will she do to not feel what she feels inside?
Will there be a scar? A cut? A bruise?
Will there be someone there to comfort, sooth, and be tender?
When shall she recover?
This silly girl!
This clumsy girl?
When will she find balance?
Stand up again,
And face this world with her new found confidence!
When will she find him?
Her pillar of hope,
Her blanket of warmth?
When will all the pain be gone?
And she can finally move on?
When her bruises will disappear,
And her life suddenly again becomes clear?
Perhaps there are bigger plans,
For this little lass,
This tiny soul...
Perhaps she will find understanding,
In this cruel world!
This world of hate!
This world of evil!
Cause there's no point running,
There's no escape!
No where to hide!
Cause we have to fall,
It is inevitable!
It is out of our control!
But so long as we draw in deep breaths,
And pick ourselves up from deep within,
God will find a way to forgive,
To diminish all sins!
So be gone pain!
Burn no more pain!
Time will erode you away!
You terrible terrible suffering!
