The moon was more than a beautiful sight...
Cool air, cool breeze,
Two souls warmed each other's hearts
With each other's company.
She smiled as he clutched on tighter to her,
The moment seemed it could last on forever...
The buzzing crowd, the tireless tracks,
The sound of his deep laughter
Was all she could hear.
The late wee hours did not waver their spirit,
As the two fought hard not to succumb to sleep...
The night was not over, although the day approached,
Yet it was impossible for common beings to hold back time
As time fled them both...
Snap* Snap* Jus! Jus!
They couldn't help but caption their valuable night with their childish poses...
And of all the while they were selfishly playing,
Only their glow-in-the-dark bangles stared back at them admiringly...

Hot porridge! HOT PORRIDGE!
Suddenly they thought,
Was the remedy, was the cure,
Which would fill their tummies,
And replace the time they sought...
So off they go,
To none other than Mc D's drive through,
Where they sat adjacent of course, to one another,
Pleased and relieved they were not on their way home in his car...
"Pssst... OUCH!!", he triggered comedically holding his tongue,
Trying to disperse the porridge heat pain which stung like a bee stung!
His ONLY on-looker who instantly clasped her mouth shut,
Was in grippingly difficult attempts to muffle her laughters from leaking out!
At long last the night was no longer young,
As twilight drew in,
It is sad that all fairy tales and evenings
To the end, they must come...
But she was at the very least, grateful,
Her night was of a great and wonderful one...
As she stood before her doorstep,
Praying for his safety, home.
Somehow knowing that it was for one night only.....
